Kick-off times by time zone

The Premier League runs on UK time. Here is how the standard weekend slots translate:

Two things to remember. First, UK clocks change on different dates from the US and Australia, so for a couple of weeks in March, October and November the offsets shift by an hour. Second, for Australian viewers almost everything is overnight, which makes catch-up the most useful feature of the subscription: watch the match at breakfast without spoilers by staying off social media.

4K, 50fps and what to expect from the picture

Football is the hardest content to stream well because of fast panning across a green field. Three things matter:

Match-day checklist

Run through this an hour before kick-off:

1. Check the fixture and channel in the EPG. Sky Sports Main Event is the safe default if unsure; TNT Sports 1 for the Saturday lunchtime game.

3. Confirm the connection. If you are on Wi-Fi, check the stick is on the 5 GHz band. If you have an Ethernet adapter, use it.
