How to Watch the Premier League on IPTV in 2026: Channels & Setup

Which channels carry every Premier League match, kick-off times in the UK, US, Canada and Australia, what to expect from 4K and 50fps streams, and a match-day checklist for IPTV.

Written by IPTV-6 Editorial Team 7 min read

Premier League rights are more scattered than they have ever been. In the UK the season is split across Sky Sports and TNT Sports, with more games than ever shown live, and internationally it is carried by NBC and Peacock in the US, Fubo in Canada, Optus Sport in Australia, beIN in France and DAZN in Spain and Italy. An IPTV subscription puts all of those broadcasters in one channel list. This guide covers which channel carries which slot, kick-off times across time zones, what to expect from 4K and 50fps, how to set up a multi-screen household and a checklist for match day.

Which channels carry the Premier League

UK broadcasters

ChannelTypical slots
Sky Sports Premier LeagueSaturday 5:30 pm, Sunday 2 pm and 4:30 pm, Monday and Friday nights
Sky Sports Main EventSimulcast of the day's biggest fixture
Sky Sports FootballOverflow games and Sunday early kick-offs
TNT Sports 1Saturday 12:30 pm, selected midweek rounds
TNT Sports 2โ€“4Simultaneous midweek fixtures

IPTV-6 does not claim the rights to these channels. The country page is IPTV-6 UK.

International broadcasters

The same fixtures are produced once and distributed to rights holders worldwide, so for any given match there are usually several feeds in the library:

  • beIN Sports 1โ€“3 (France, Australia): every match, including the Saturday 3 pm games.
  • ESPN and ESPN2 (US and Australia): selected fixtures with US commentary.
  • DAZN (Spain, Italy, Germany): Premier League coverage in those markets.
  • Sky Sport Calcio (Italy) and Sky Sport 1 (Germany): the Sky international feed.

The practical value of this is choice. If the UK feed is busy at a peak moment, another broadcaster's feed of the same match is a channel change away, and non-UK feeds carry the Saturday 3 pm games that UK broadcasters cannot show under the domestic blackout. Whether you may watch those depends on where you are, which is covered in the legality note below.

Kick-off times by time zone

The Premier League runs on UK time. Here is how the standard weekend slots translate:

Sun 4:30 pm11:30 am8:30 am11:30 am3:30 am
Mon 8:00 pm3:00 pm12:00 pm3:00 pm7:00 am

Two things to remember. First, UK clocks change on different dates from the US and Australia, so for a couple of weeks in March, October and November the offsets shift by an hour. Second, for Australian viewers almost everything is overnight, which makes catch-up the most useful feature of the subscription: watch the match at breakfast without spoilers by staying off social media.

Set the EPG time zone in your app to your own location (Europe/London, America/New_York, Australia/Sydney) and the guide will show local times automatically.

4K, 50fps and what to expect from the picture

Football is the hardest content to stream well because of fast panning across a green field. Three things matter:

  1. Frame rate. UK broadcasters produce at 50 frames per second. A 25fps or 30fps stream looks juddery on a fast counter-attack. IPTV-6 sports feeds are delivered at source frame rate, so Sky and TNT come through at 50fps.
  2. Resolution. Sky Sports and TNT Sports produce selected matches in UHD (4K), and those feeds pass through where the source is 4K. Most matches are 1080p. A 4K feed needs about 25 Mbps and an HD feed about 10 Mbps.
  3. Bitrate stability. Steady bandwidth matters more than peak bandwidth. A Fire TV Stick on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi will drop frames during the busiest moments of a match even on a fast line. Use 5 GHz or an Ethernet adapter.

On the app side, TiviMate on Android and Fire TV lets you set the decoder to hardware and, on capable devices, match the display refresh rate to the stream so 50fps content plays at 50 Hz. IPTV Smarters Pro has a similar "native player" option. TiviMate vs IPTV Smarters compares the two.

Multi-screen households

A common Saturday: the 12:30 game on the living-room TV, the 3 pm goals on a tablet in the kitchen, and a second match on the bedroom TV at 5:30. Each simultaneous stream uses one connection.

  • The monthly and quarterly IPTV-6 plans include 1 connection.
  • The 6-month (ยฃ44.99) and annual (ยฃ69.99) plans include 2 connections.
  • An extra connection is ยฃ2.75 per month, so a three-screen household on the annual plan pays under ยฃ9 per month in total.

You can install the app on as many devices as you like; the limit applies only to streams playing at the same moment. Full details are on the pricing page.

Match-day checklist

Run through this an hour before kick-off:

  1. Check the fixture and channel in the EPG. Sky Sports Main Event is the safe default if unsure; TNT Sports 1 for the Saturday lunchtime game.
  2. Restart the device. Fire TV Sticks in particular accumulate memory pressure over a week. A 30-second restart prevents most mid-match stalls.
  3. Confirm the connection. If you are on Wi-Fi, check the stick is on the 5 GHz band. If you have an Ethernet adapter, use it.
  4. Open the channel ten minutes early and let the buffer fill. Changing channel repeatedly at kick-off is the surest way to cause a stall.
  5. Have a second feed in favourites. Sky Sports Main Event and a beIN or ESPN feed of the same match, so a single channel hiccup is a one-button fix.
  6. Check the status page if anything looks wrong before assuming it is your connection.

If you still see buffering, IPTV buffering fix walks through the diagnosis step by step, and Optimise your Fire TV Stick for IPTV covers the device settings that matter most.

Best devices for football

  • Fire TV Stick 4K: the most common choice. Cheap, supports 4K and 50 Hz output, runs TiviMate and Smarters. See the Fire TV Stick guide.
  • Android TV / Google TV box: the Nvidia Shield or any Google TV device with Ethernet is the best possible football setup, with TiviMate handling refresh-rate matching. See the Android guide.
  • Samsung or LG Smart TV: no extra hardware, good for a bedroom TV. See the Smart TV guide.
  • Phone or tablet: fine for the kitchen or the commute; the iOS guide and Android guide cover setup.

A note on legality

IPTV-6 does not claim broadcast rights. Whether a service is allowed depends on the channel and on the law where you live. This is not legal advice. Sky Stream, NOW and TNT Sports' own app deliver television over IP. What determines whether a particular service is lawful is whether it holds the rights to the channels it distributes, and those rules differ from country to country. In the UK, the Premier League actively pursues unauthorised streaming and obtains blocking orders against servers during matches. IPTV-6 does not claim to hold Premier League rights; we provide a stable, well-supported service and honest information. Check the rules where you live if you are unsure, and read Is IPTV legal? for a country-by-country summary.

Getting started before the next round

  1. Start the 24-hour free trial from the UK page.
  2. Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro using the relevant install guide.
  3. Log in with Xtream Codes so the 7-day guide loads.
  4. Build a favourites group: Sky Sports Premier League, Main Event, Football, TNT Sports 1โ€“4, beIN Sports 1, BBC One.
  5. Test during a live match. If it holds, pick a plan with the number of connections your household needs.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Which channels show Premier League matches on IPTV?

In the UK, Premier League matches are on Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Football and TNT Sports 1โ€“4. IPTV-6 does not publish a confirmed Premier League channel list and does not claim those broadcast rights.

  • Can I watch the Saturday 3 pm Premier League games?

The 3 pm Saturday slot is not televised in the UK under the domestic blackout, but some international broadcasters show those games. IPTV-6 does not claim those rights. Whether you may watch them depends on the law where you live. This is not legal advice.

  • Is Premier League IPTV in 4K and 50fps?

Sky and TNT produce selected matches in UHD, and the IPTV-6 feed for those channels passes through the source quality. Most Premier League streams are 1080p at 50 frames per second; a 25 Mbps connection is needed for 4K and about 10 Mbps for HD.

  • How many connections do I need for a football household?

One connection covers one screen at a time. The 6-month and annual IPTV-6 plans include 2 connections, so two matches can play on two TVs simultaneously, and an extra connection costs ยฃ2.75 per month if you need a third.

  • What time do Premier League games kick off in the US and Australia?

A 3 pm UK kick-off is 10 am Eastern and 7 am Pacific in the US, 10 am Eastern in Canada, and 1 am AEDT or midnight AEST in Australia. The 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm UK slots shift accordingly; catch-up covers the overnight games.
